TURNKEY PROJECT DELIVERY

One Team. One Contract. Your Completed Space at Handover.

Worood Interiors delivers fully turnkey interior design and fit-out across the UAE — managing every stage from initial concept and 3D visualisation through to construction, installation, and final styling. You tell us your vision. We hand you the keys.

What It Means and Why It Matters

Turnkey Interior Design UAE

Turnkey interior design means one thing: you hand us your vision at the beginning and we hand you your completed space at the end. Everything in between — the design, the drawings, the approvals, the procurement, the fit-out, the furniture, the styling — is managed by one integrated team under one contract, with one point of accountability throughout. No coordinating between a designer who does not know what the contractor is doing and a contractor who has not properly read the design. No gaps between the concept you approved and the space you receive. No surprises. Just your space, delivered.

The traditional approach to interior design — hire a designer, then separately hire a fit-out contractor, then separately manage furniture procurement, then separately arrange installation — is one of the most common causes of interior design disappointment in the UAE. Each handover between parties creates an opportunity for interpretation, miscommunication, and quality loss. The designer's vision meets the contractor's reading of it. The approved material gets substituted because the contractor has a preferred supplier. The furniture arrives late and the site gets handed over incomplete. Worood Interiors exists to eliminate every one of these failure points by managing the entire journey ourselves.

Our turnkey interior design and fit-out service covers the complete project lifecycle for both residential and commercial projects across the UAE: initial briefing and concept strategy; space planning and architectural design; full interior design development; 3D visualisation and client presentations; material specification and procurement; authority approval submission and coordination; fit-out management and site supervision; custom furniture and joinery design and production; FF&E procurement and installation; specialist contractor coordination (MEP, AV, smart systems, landscaping); and final styling, snagging, and handover. Nothing is outside our scope. Nothing is left to the client to manage.

Our turnkey service is designed for clients who value their time, want certainty over their outcome, and expect the space they hand us a brief for to be the space they walk into at handover — not a version of it filtered through multiple contractors. We work with villa owners managing a home transformation from overseas, corporate clients who need a commercial fit-out delivered around a business launch deadline, developers who want a single accountable partner for show home or branded residence delivery, and hospitality operators who cannot afford fit-out overruns. If you want your interior project managed to completion without building a project management structure around it yourself — turnkey is the answer. And Worood Interiors is who you call.

Design Process

01 / Brief, Vision & Programme

Our turnkey process begins with a single, thorough briefing session — the conversation in which we learn everything we need to know about your vision, your lifestyle or operational requirements, your aesthetic preferences, your non-negotiables, your timeline, and your investment range. From this conversation, we develop your Project Brief and your Project Programme: a detailed timeline showing every phase, milestone, approval, procurement deadline, and handover date — mapped to your specific project and confirmed with you before any design work begins. With a Worood Interiors turnkey project, you know exactly what is happening and when from day one.

02 / Design Development & Client Sign-Off

Our design team develops the complete interior concept — covering space planning, architectural modifications if required, full interior design direction, 3D visualisation of all key spaces, material and furniture specification, lighting scheme, and custom joinery designs. We present everything in a comprehensive design presentation and work through revisions with you until every element is exactly right. Only when you have formally signed off on the complete design does production, procurement, and fit-out begin. This sign-off process is the guarantee that your space will be built exactly as you have approved it — with no room for interpretation or substitution downstream.

03 / Delivery — Approvals, Production & Fit-Out

Once design is approved, all delivery streams run simultaneously under our project manager's coordination: authority approvals are submitted and tracked; material and furniture procurement is initiated; custom joinery goes into production; and the fit-out programme begins on site. Our project manager conducts daily site supervision, produces weekly progress reports for the client, and resolves any field issues in real time — escalating to senior leadership only where required. We maintain absolute transparency throughout delivery: you always know exactly where your project stands, what has been completed, what is coming, and whether anything needs your input or decision.

04 / Completion, Styling & Handover

Final completion is a phase we take as seriously as any other. Before the client's first walk-through, our team conducts a comprehensive pre-handover inspection — checking every surface, fitting, door, drawer, switch, light fitting, and finish across the entire project against the approved design specification. Every defect is logged and resolved before handover. Our styling team then dresses the completed space — placing furniture, arranging accessories, hanging art, and adding the finishing layers that complete the interior. The client's final walk-through is of a space that is styled, snagged, and ready to occupy from the moment they enter it. Handover documentation — warranties, as-built drawings, supplier contacts, maintenance schedules — is provided in full. Post-handover, our team remains available for a defined aftercare period.

Why Turnkey — and Why Worood Interiors

One Point of Accountability

When something needs resolving on a turnkey project — and on every project, something always does — there is one team responsible for resolving it. No contractor blaming the designer. No designer pointing at the contractor. No client stuck in the middle trying to referee. Our team owns the outcome, in full, from beginning to end.

Design Integrity from Concept to Handover

The design you approve is the space you receive. Because the same team manages both design and build, there is no translation loss between what was designed and what was constructed. The material on the sample board is the material on the wall. The dimension on the drawing is the dimension of the room. The furniture specified is the furniture installed.

One Contract, Total Transparency

A single contract covering the complete scope eliminates the budget uncertainty that comes from managing multiple separate contracts. You have one agreed price, one payment schedule, and one budget to track — with complete transparency on where every dirham is allocated throughout the project.

Time Saved — Yours

Managing an interior project with multiple vendors is a significant time commitment: coordinating meetings, managing competing schedules, chasing deliveries, mediating disputes, and tracking progress across multiple contracts. A Worood Interiors turnkey project requires your time at the brief, the design review, and the handover — and our time for everything in between. Your project is managed. You are not the project manager.

Faster Delivery Through Parallel Workstreams

Because our design, procurement, production, and fit-out teams all work under one roof, parallel workstreams are possible that would require complex coordination across multiple separate companies. Authority approvals are submitted while joinery goes into production. Materials arrive on site precisely when the fit-out programme needs them. Lead times are managed proactively, not reactively.

A Finished Space — Not a Project Site

The most common complaint about non-turnkey interior projects is that the client takes handover of a space that is not truly finished — missing accessories, undelivered furniture, outstanding snags, unresolved contractor issues. A Worood Interiors turnkey handover is a complete, styled, snagged, and documented space. You receive the space in the condition it was designed to be lived in — from the very first day.

What Our Clients Say

We measure success by the quality of the spaces we create and the experience of every client we create them for.

Residential Interior Design UAE

Frequently Asked Questions

What does turnkey interior design cost in the UAE?

Turnkey costs encompass the complete project scope — design, procurement, fit-out, furniture, and styling — and vary significantly by project type and specification. For residential turnkey projects: a 2–3 bedroom apartment turnkey fit-out typically ranges from AED 75,000–180,000; a luxury villa turnkey project ranges from AED 150,000–500,000+. For commercial turnkey projects: office turnkey fit-outs start from AED 200 per sq ft; hospitality and retail turnkey projects vary by scope and finish level. Worood Interiors provides a detailed, itemised turnkey quotation after an initial briefing — covering all phases from design to handover.

How long does a turnkey interior project take?

Turnkey timelines depend on project scope. A full apartment turnkey fit-out typically runs 10–16 weeks from design sign-off to handover. A luxury villa turnkey project runs 3–6 months. A large commercial turnkey fit-out runs 3–8 months depending on size, sector, and authority approval complexity. Worood Interiors provides a detailed project programme at the start of every engagement, with milestone dates agreed in writing.

Is turnkey interior design more expensive than managing the project myself?

Turnkey projects carry a project management element that adds a component to the overall cost. However, the full comparison needs to account for: the time cost of managing multiple vendors yourself; the risk cost of errors, substitutions, and delays that arise in unmanaged multi-vendor projects; the quality cost of design integrity loss between designer and contractor; and the very real financial cost of fit-out overruns, which are significantly more common in non-turnkey projects than clients expect. For most clients, turnkey represents better value overall — even before the value of their own time is factored in.

Can I be involved in design decisions during a turnkey project?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. A turnkey project does not mean you hand us a brief and have no involvement until handover. Our design process is highly collaborative: you are fully involved in concept approval, material selection, furniture specification, and every significant design decision. What turnkey removes is the need for you to manage the people and processes that execute your decisions — not the decisions themselves.

Do you do turnkey for both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. Worood Interiors delivers fully turnkey interior design and fit-out for residential projects (villas, apartments, penthouses, whole-home renovations) and commercial projects (offices, retail, restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, education) across the UAE. The scope, timeline, and pricing differ by project type, but the commitment — one team, one contract, one finished space — is identical across every project we take on.

Your space tells your story. We make sure it says something worth remembering
